Artist Statement
As an artist and art educator, my work resides at the intersection of traditional artistic practices and contemporary digital media.

Recently, I have worked with developing a festive attire for Tøyen (Tøyendrakt), which is a place-rooted, hybrid celebration of identity and craft—a platform where traditional sewing meets local narratives, cultural hybridity, and community learning.

My primary areas of focus include portrait painting, embroidery, pinhole photography and designing cameras, 2D and 3D digital media, and the innovative use of Makerspace environments.

In poetry and writing, I pursue new forms of digital narratives, aiming to tell stories that resonate with the digital era.

With my artistic and academic research, I aim to design, test, and present new ways of teaching art through maker-centered learning.

My goal is to inspire a harmonious integration of art and technology, fostering an environment where educators and students can fully realize their creative potential and envision new possibilities for artistic expression.
